Overview
The information sheet on the marketing of heated tobacco products (HTPs) provides information on what HTPs are, how HTPs are marketed in the countries where they are available on the market, the marketing channels and the marketing strategies adopted by manufacturers to extend their reach to other markets. The information sheet also provides WHO’s recommendation for national surveillance mechanisms to monitor HTP marketing and is closely linked to the first information sheet on heated tobacco products published in September 2017.
