Representatives from the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE) and WHO will meet to discuss how the tripartite can further collaborate with the global rabies community through the 'United Against Rabies' forum. A global strategy - 'Zero by 30' is already in place, but lack of funding and resources for dog vaccination is a major barrier to successfully eliminating rabies in the estimated 150 endemic countries.
