This purpose of the meeting is to provide final editorial review for an update of the WHO publication Guidelines for Poison Control. This guidance aims to assist countries in establishing or strengthening facilities for the prevention and management of poisoning. It provides information about the various functions of a poisons centre and the resources that would be required to fulfil these functions.
