Overview

Dr Laverack will provide a review of the current knowledge on engaging with migrants to promote health with a focus on the European region and will specifically identify four key implications for the development of future national policy.

Health promotion for vulnerable groups such as migrants has not yet been developed as an area of expertise. The webinar will therefore explore what has worked and what does not work in health promotion practice for migrant health and will be illustrated with case study examples from the literature.
