The third meeting of the WHO AMR Surveillance and Quality Assessment Collaborating Centres Network was organised to follow up on contributions of the participating CCs to the implementation of the global AMR surveillance system (GLASS) according to the 2017-2019 CCs Network work plan, to provide the opportunity for the participating CCs and WHO Regional Offices to meet face to face and further develop the collaboration on continuous support on capacity building.
Priority areas of future work and support to specific target products and activities were established and plan for the revision of GLASS following the early implementation phase was developed and agreed.
The next meeting of representatives of the CCs and the Regional Offices was agreed to be held in the third quarter, 2020.
