Addressing challenges on the road to elimination
The draft strategy proposes ways to address salient challenges. These include the current HPV vaccine supply constraints, access to services, and special considerations for women living with HIV. As we prepare for the EB, WHO has also
been considering a variety of ways to support countries with these challenges. For example, we are evaluating additional means to promote access to medical products, we are engaging further with experts on the delivery of cervical cancer services,
and we are updating guidance on cervical cancer screening for women living with HIV.
If you would like to share creative suggestions about how WHO can support demand creation or engagement with the education sector, we welcome your ideas. To share suggestions, please send an email by February 24, 2020, to cxca@who.int, with one of these two subject lines:
- "Newsletter feedback: Demand Creation"
- "Newsletter feedback: Education Sector"
We are unable to respond to all emails, but all submissions will be read and considered.
Among the key feedback we have received, stakeholders point to the need for innovative approaches to demand creation and for engagement with the education sector.
