Increased blood pressure is a leading risk for death and disability globally. The World Hypertension League and partner organizations have developed the ‘Sao Paulo Call to Action for the Prevention and Control of High Blood Pressure: 2019’ to help align health and scientific organizations and hypertension experts with global best practices for hypertension control.
